イアン・ミッチェル　ベイシティローラーズロゼッタ・ストーン「Retrospective Roller」Rosetta Stone1977-1949フォーマット／CDレーベル／Wizzard In Vinyl発売日／2004年9月15日発売国／日本イアン・ミッチェルがベイ・シティ・ローラーズ脱退後に結成したロゼッタ・ストーン。彼らの素晴らしさって、何よりカバー曲の目の付け所だったと思う。Kinksの「You Really Got Me Now」、Creamの「Sunshine Of Your Love」はもちろん、Amen Cornersの「If Paradise Is Half As Nice」やSmith & D'aboの「Free As A Bird」など、いずれもポップにまとめて興味深い。当時流行りかけていたディスコビートもいち早く取り入れていた。ロゼッタ・ストーンが発表したアルバムは２枚だけ。本アルバムはその全てを網羅、というかカップリングなので、これ一枚で彼らの全てが聴ける。[収録曲]1st「ROCK PICTURES／青春の出発」1.
